As reported few days ago, the youth of Daboya community raised red flags about the ongoing construction of a 5km township road project. They earlier threatened a peaceful demonstration to draw the attention of authorities to fix anomalies relating to the construction. According to the concerned youth, they took notice of some defects under the supervision of the contractor which poses discomfort and smack of a shoddy job in their opinion.

The DCE, Hon Adam Eliasu Red Bawa yesterday 20/06/2023 welcomed Mr. Charles into the District to engage the concerned youth on the subject matter. This was after the invitation of the DCE calling on the director for urban roads in the Savannah Region to make time with the youth; the engagement yesterday provided thorough education and sensitization on the technical and engineering rational behind what the Youth call a defect in the construction.
