FIVE (5) MORE COMMUNITIES GETS ELECTRICITY IN THE NORTH GONJA DISTRICT – THE HON RED BAWA DIARIES – 24/07/2020.

 

The New Patriotic Party shares a centre-right and liberal conservative ideals with right to life, freedom and justice as the principles to which the government and laws of the land should be dedicated in order specifically to enrich life, property and liberty of each and everyone. This ideologistic principle is blazing confidence in the North Gonja District thanks to a peerless leadership delivery of Hon Adam Eliasu Red Bawa and the NPP government in the Daboya/Mankarigu Constituency.

Access to ELECTRICITY is one of the lowest in the service delivery in the District accounting for less than 20% of the population. The status quo has being fast changing in the last 3½ years of the Akuffo Addo government, just yesterday five (5) additional communities namely; Disa, Singa, Tari 1, Tari 2 and Gbasimpa have been commissioned paving way for their connection into the national grid. Three (3) months ago (29/04/2020) four (4) communities; Mankarigu, Yagbon, Sakpala and Lukula were connected. Kaden community in 2019 (24/09/2019) received same attention bringing to a total of Ten (10) in 3½ years of the NPP government. It’s worthy of note that, this is a far cry and more superior achievement of only four (4) communities by the erstwhile government in 8 years, in short its 10 in 3½ years by the NPP against 4 in 8years by the NDC. The 10 have been successfully connected so far and still counting because more work is currently underway in some communities.

As history making and unprecedented it was, the ceremony saw some of the bigwigs and officialdom making appearance. Hon Adam Eliasu Red Bawa (DCE NGDA), Hon Samuel Yeyu Tika (Deputy SR Minister), Hon Alhaj Mahama Asei Seini (NPP PC, Daboya/Mankarigu Constituency), Hon Mohammed Issah (fmr PC aspirant and SR Communications Director), Hon Bavug Abdul-Latif (fmr PC aspirant), Constituency executives led by Alhaj Yahaya Kasim (Chairman) were all in attendance. Community after Community gave a celebratively rousing welcome to the team in excitement and appreciation of a life changing project like ELECTRICITY.

All speakers assured them of government efforts in bringing more development and urged them to keep supporting by retaining H.E Akuffo Addo and also vote for Hon Alhaj Mahama Asei Seini. Hon Red Bawa was happy that all the pledges he had made with the people are been fulfilled one after the other citing roads, schools, water and now electricity.
