20 Shea Nuts Processors from  Suglo Nbori Buni Shea Nuts Processing Association at Kagbal (in North Gonja District) embarked on a study tour to Asheba Enterprise, a Shea Nut Processing Centre at Kunbu Yili near Kumbungu in the Northern Region.

The purpose of the study tour was to give clients a practical experience of small business management, weighing and packaging of finished product (Shea Butter) for export.

Mrs Mahama Ayishetu, CEO of Asheaba Enterprise, is a client of Sagnarigu BAC who has excel in the Shea Industry and currently export the product in large quantities.

Besides, the BAC invited resource persons from the Register General’s Department, Ghana Export Promotion and Food and Drugs Authority to educate clients on the need to regularise their businesses, the processes and requirements for exporting Shea Nuts.

At the end of the training, clients were motivated to   take their business to a different level. They were inspired to accept the fact that  they can make it  in the informal sector by observing good business practice and formalizing their business.
