A total of 3,430 candidates have embarked on the 2023 school-based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in the Savannah Region.

This includes 1,847 male and 1,583 female candidates who hail from twelve public senior schools and four private Senior High schools across the region.

The examination began on July 31st, 2023, and is set to conclude on September 23rd, 2023.

Leading the enrollment count among government schools in the region is Damongo Senior High School with 571 candidates, closely followed by Salaga Senior High School with 535 candidates, and Bole Senior High School with 479 candidates.

Today, August 23rd, 2023, according to the 2023 WASSCE timetable, the candidates are taking their English Orals paper.
