The North Gonja District Assembly, under the leadership of the Hon. Nashiru Abdulai, District Chief Executive (DCE), and Mr. Issahaku Abdul-Kudus, District Coordinating Director (DCD), held its Third Quarter Staff Durbar on Thursday, 27th August 2026, at the District Assembly Conference Hall.
The durbar brought together staff of the Assembly to review the successes and challenges recorded during the quarter, while providing a platform to deliberate on staff welfare, institutional development, and the overall progress of the District.
The programme also provided an opportunity for staff to familiarize themselves with the Assembly’s Management, particularly the Hon. Nashiru Abdulai, DCE, and Mr. Issahaku Abdul-Kudus, DCD, and to strengthen collaboration between management and staff in achieving the Assembly’s development objectives.
Key activities during the durbar included presentations on the successes, challenges, and activities of various departments and units. This was followed by an interactive question and answer session, during which staff had the opportunity to raise concerns, seek clarification, and make suggestions on matters affecting their work and the effective functioning of the Assembly.
The durbar reaffirmed Management’s commitment to promoting open communication, staff welfare, teamwork, and improved service delivery for the development of the North Gonja District.
