HON ADAM ELIASU DONATES CASH TO THE UDS – DABOYA STUDY CENTRE TOWARDS THEIR SRC WEEK CELEBRATION….01/11/2020

The District Chief Executive for North Gonja, Hon Adam Eliasu Red Bawa yesterday 31/10/2020 paid a courtesy call on the MANAGEMENT, TUTORS & STUDENTS of the UNIVERSITY FOR DEVELOPMENT STUDIES – DABOYA CENTRE. The students numbering about seventy five (75) underwent an intensive and rigorous eight (8) weeks tuition ACCESS COURSE to prepare them to be Worthy students of the institution after passing their final exams. The exam which started yesterday will bring to an end another successful badge of students going through the programme in the Daboya Study Centre.

The solemn role and importance of the institution in the North Gonja District informed the visit by the Hon. DCE to show appreciation and gratuity to the forbearers and throw in moral support to the students as well. Hon Red Bawa singled out Mr. Mohammed Sadat who is the co-ordinator of the programme in Daboya for his sterling sacrifices and efforts in the success of the centre in North Gonja.

He advised the students on Time Management, Self Motivation & Commitment to the course and Their Decisions On the December, 7 general polls in Ghana. Hon Red Bawa reminded them of their immediate need for jobs after acquiring the Certification and asked that they vote for a party/government that has the track record of jobs and youth centred policies and programmes. “As students, this is the time to vote for your future, secure your future first and choose the political party you want to belong to, don’t hurt your future, protect it for yourself, family and the society” says Hon Red Bawa. The evidences hundreds of jobs and support for small scale business is a manifestation of a government to trust in the subject matter.

The DCE could not hide his joy in appreciation of the founding fathers of the institution and declared that Posterity has a good place for them in the annals of North Gonja District history. He also made a modest cash donation of Ghs 1,000.00 towards the celebration of their SRC week. According to the co-ordinator, the SRC week celebration is meant to raise awareness and draw support from the community for the growth of the institution. God Bless North Gonja and Make Us Great and String.
