The Gulf of Guinea Northern Cohesion (SOCO) Project, in collaboration with the North Gonja District Assembly and the National Youth Authority of Ghana, successfully organized the Inter-Cluster Youth Cultural Dance Festival in Daboya. Themed “Promoting Social Cohesion and Peaceful Coexistence for Local Economic Development,” the event was a vibrant celebration of culture, youth engagement, and community unity.

The festival brought together youth groups from across the district to showcase their diverse cultural identities through traditional dance performances. The colorful displays of music, rhythm, and heritage captivated audiences and highlighted the power of culture in fostering peace and development.
Local leaders and community members attended the event, commending SOCO and the Assembly for creating a platform that not only celebrates tradition but also strengthens community bonds. The festival also served as a space for dialogue on youth inclusion, peacebuilding, and the role of culture in sustainable development.
