RICCS Verification Underway for ODF Declaration in North Gonja District

The North Gonja District Assembly has commenced the Regional Inter-Agency Coordinating Committee on Sanitation (RICCS) verification process for the declaration of Open Defecation Free (ODF) communities across the district.

This critical milestone follows months of intense sanitation campaigns, behavior change communication, and community-led total sanitation (CLTS) efforts spearheaded by the Environmental Health Unit of the North Gonja District Assembly in partnership with local leaders and stakeholders.
