SECURITY BRIEFING IN NORTH GONJA DISTRICT.

HON ADAM ELIASU OFFERS SITUATIONAL REPORTS TO THE WASIPEWURA.

The raid, detention, and subsequent prosecution of some residents of Daboya have dominated every sphere of discussion for some days now, the Daboya Community has been characterized by fear, anxiety, and panic as a result.

The District Chief Executive, Hon Red Bawa, and other major stakeholders have been at the forefront until the last 21 of the arrested men were released on bail while 97 were previously freed under police custody.

This afternoon 07/06/2023, the DCE was at the Wasipe Palace to brief the Wasipewura, his Chiefs, the youth, and members of the public on the security situation. His first point of submission called for cool heads to prevail and gave a metric basis report on happenings from the Northern Regional Police Headquarters to date. He assured the palace, that he together with the rest of the stakeholders will continue to cooperate and engage in due processes to bring finality to the matter once and for all.

In acknowledgment, the Palace appreciated all stakeholders for their various roles and reserved special mention of Hon Adam Eliasu for always demonstrating commitment and capability at all times for his people.
