The North Gonja District over the years has had quite a few security challenges in recent times, DCE Hon Adam Eliasu with support from DISEC has invested in this sector in the construction of a police post at Mankarigu and the successful upgradement of the Daboya Police Post into a fully fletched District Command.
There are plans to further construct Police Posts to enhance Police visibility. Two days ago (06/05/2023), the DCE received Police Personnel into the District numbering sixty six (66) from the Savannah Regional Command.
This is a massive boost to enhance the safety of the good people of North Gonja, enforcement of law and Order and strengthening of the GPS as a state institution in the District.
The MP and some NPP constituency executives were present to welcome the personnel.
