NORTH GONJA DISTRICT – RURAL ELECTRIFICATION.

The pursuit of life’s most basic and essential social projects has proven daunting throughout the history of North Gonja; especially Rural Electricity. An indicator that is believed to open up the local economy of the citizenry thereby unlocking the many Agrarian, Tourism and human resource potential of the District.

DCE Hon Adam Eliasu launched a relentless fight in the provision of Rural Electricity in 2017 and has successfully achieved double figures in connecting communities into the National Grid. Like many other communities experiencing ongoing works, Bugsah, Zeipe and Kparia have light at last.

On Saturday, 07/05/2023, Hon Red Bawa took terms to undertake community engagements in these newly connected areas; opinion leaders and the young took part in symbolic commissioning.
