The District Chief Executive (DCE) for North Gonja District, Hon. Abdulai Nashiru, together with staff of the District Assembly, today embarked on a working visit to inspect the progress of ongoing developmental projects across the district.

The inspection covered the 24-Hour Economy Market Project, the construction of the Savannah College of Education, and the ongoing Rural Electrification Project to extend electricity to several communities.
The visit formed part of the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring quality execution, monitoring progress, and guaranteeing the timely completion of government-funded projects for the benefit of the people of North Gonja.
At each project site, Hon. Abdulai Nashiru expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far and commended the contractors and engineers for their dedication. He, however, urged them to intensify their efforts and maintain high standards of workmanship to ensure that all projects are completed within the stipulated timelines.
The Hon. DCE reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to accelerating infrastructure development across the district, emphasizing that these projects will significantly enhance education, improve market access, expand electricity coverage, and promote socio-economic development in North Gonja.
