The Government of the day is currently putting a facelift to a 5km Daboya township road as the urban roads department is constructing drainage systems within the township to curb the perennial floods in the community.
However, the youth of Daboya community have raised red flags and threatened a peaceful demonstration to fix anomalies relating to the construction. According to the concerned youth, they took notice of some adjustments on the drainage construction by the contractor which poses discomfort and smark of a shoddy job.
The DCE, Hon Adam Eliasu Red Bawa took terms to listen to the concerns of the youth in a round table discussion yesterday (14/06/2023), he later took inspection of the work and made contact with the urban roads department who promised to come down and undertake a technical / engineering review of the construction project.
