Speaking on the theme Pivoting To Growth, Jobs And Sustainable Livelihoods Beyond The Macroeconomic Stability”, he noted the government was putting systems in place to tackle challenges facing the Ghanaian workforce.
In an address, guest speaker for the parade, Kofi Apeatse Odum honored workers for their resilience, sacrifice, and dedication recognizing their contributions across all sectors of the economy.

Mr Kofi Apeatse Odum acknowledged challenges facing workers, citing job security, fair remuneration, safe working conditions, and opportunities for professional growth.
He further urged collective action from government, employers, and workers themselves to address these challenges.

These sentiments were made during this year’s May Day celebration at Daboya in the North Gonja district.
Annually, 1st May is set aside globally to commemorate workers for their tireless contributions to humanity and national development
